About
Liat Considine is a Certified Yoga Therapist who specializes in using yoga as a holistic approach to well-being. Through the integration of movement, mindfulness, meditation & tapping, she supports children, teens, adults, families, and those who are neurodivergent to develop emotional regulation skills, reduce stress and foster greater balance in everyday life.
A UC Berkeley graduate with high honors, Liat’s journey began in the world of dance. She trained with professional ballet and modern dance companies, developing a deep understanding of body awareness and the power of movement. Her personal experience overcoming perfectionism, anxiety, and body image challenges inspired her to become a Certified Yoga Instructor in 2002 - and to help others find confidence and calm from within.
As a mother, Liat brings a compassionate perspective to her work, understanding firsthand the complexities of raising children in today’s world. Her sessions integrate tools from Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR), meditation, and Emotional Freedom Techniques (EFT) to help clients regulate their nervous systems and navigate anxiety, depression, OCD, grief, and trauma.
The Philosophy
Yoga is an ancient philosophy - over 5,000 years old - yet its wisdom remains deeply relevant today. As our lives grow busier and more complex, yoga calls on us to reconnect with our true selves, the wisdom that lies within us and our spiritual energy. Through Yoga & Mindfulness, we can connect to our highest being to become more aware of our thoughts & behaviors.
A consistent spiritual routine and yoga practice are essential in cultivating both a strong body and a peaceful mind. Yoga sculpts both our physical form and also our inner world. It teaches us to quiet the restless mind, move through internal conflict, and face life’s challenges by turning inward. In that stillness, we make space for the higher self - the Divine - to flow freely through us.
The essence of yoga lies in its simplicity. You don’t need complicated rituals - just a willingness to show up as you are, along with consistency. Through this genuine effort & awareness, we generate positive energy, clarity of mind, and are able to move through life with more confidence and connection.
We spend so much of life trying to define who we are - through roles, achievements, and experiences. But true clarity comes from within. When we pause, breathe, and check in with ourselves, we return to what really matters: meaning, purpose, presence.
Yoga is a lifelong journey of grace, balance, and self-discovery. It reminds us to let go of fear, open our hearts, and embrace life’s inevitable ups and downs. No matter what challenges arise, your breath and your practice are always there to anchor you.
I invite you to join me - on the mat and in life - as we witness and welcome all that is meant to unfold.
